The Twitter Ballad: “Twitter come back!”

A lot of people are questioning Twitter and its lack of a businessplan. They complain ‘Yeah, it is kinda cool but how are they ever going to make money?’ Let me tell you this: if you host a service that makes people write desperate songs about you when you go down you’ve got it made. Watch and weep:

Lyrics (So you can sing along!):

Spend all my nights and all my mornings going out of my mind
Doing anything I can to get you working again

When the errors come I get back to starting again
Trying to forget you is just a waste of time

CHORUS

Twitter come back
Any kind of fool could see
There was something really wrong with cha

Twitter come back
Ruby or PHP
I was robbed and I just can’t live without ya

All day long I keep hitting the refresh button
Trying to get my followers to see me
As the errors come I get that sick feeling again
How I wish to god that you were working one more time again

CHORUS

Twitter come back
Any kind of fool could see
There was something really wrong with cha

Twitter come back
Ruby or PHP
I was robbed and I just can’t live without ya

Now that I’ve put it all together
I sure hope that you will see
That you’ve used up all your free credits
With me, oh yes, with me, yea with me!

CHORUS

Twitter come back
Any kind of fool could see
There was something really wrong with cha

Twitter come back
Ruby or PHP
I was robbed and I just can’t live without ya

I hope you like that post!

This is so insane, demonstrating twitter’s power, influence and how important the service is. Who needs a business plan when has users like this dude and us watching Twitter Come Back!

@Doron a walk in the park would be a good idea but is impossible because they don’t have wi-fi there… ;-)
